Il panico della porta senza maniglia

Quando ero piccolo, d'estate, capitava che andassimo nella casa del mare di una zia di mia mamma. Era un piccolo appartamento con una sola camera matrimoniale, un bagno e l'entrata che era il salotto con cucina (c'era anche un bel balcone ad angolo, ma per la storia non è importante).

Io con mio fratello e mia sorella dormivamo in salotto.

Una notte mi svegliai perché dovevo andare in bagno. Per non disturbare nessuno e con la sicurezza di un gatto mi diressi verso il bagno senza accendere la luce. Tra salotto è bagno c'era un disimpegno che dava anche sulla camera da letto, per cui in quel punto senza finestre era completamente buio.

Arrivato davanti la porta, che era chiusa, cominciai a tastare con le mani per cercare la maniglia, ma questa sembrava scomparsa. Rimasi qualche minuto a girare con la mano, strisciando sul legno, eppure ero convinto fosse li, l'avevo usata mille volte...e intanto il bisogno di entrare aumentava.

Probabilmente la mia ricerca fu più rumorosa di quanto pensassi perché ad un tratto si aprì la porta della camera, era mia mamma che era venuta a vedere cosa stesse succedendo.

La tensione in quel momento era cresciuta a tal punto che mi spaventai e caddi pure a terra piangendo. 

Una volta accesa la luce vidi la maniglia che era sempre stata li...forse 10cm più in la da dove stessi cercando...

Penso che a volte nella vita ci capita la stessa cosa, almeno è capitato a me di andare sicuro verso una cosa ed incaponirmi, anche se sarebbe bastato accendere un attimo la luce, cioè chiedere un aiuto esterno, mentre il non chiedere aiuto per non disturbare alla fine ha disturbato molto di più. Ritrovandomi poi in una situazione di disperazione.

Sii la luce del mondo

Cos'è la luce? Il dizionario di Webster elenca non meno di quindici definizioni di luce. Preferisco il semplice "qualcosa che illumina". Proprio come accendere un interruttore della luce in una stanza buia riempirà la stanza di luce, quindi fornire un esempio di rettitudine - e quindi essere luce - può aiutare a illuminare un mondo sempre più oscuro.

Ogniuno di noi può portare la luce nella vita di qualcuno, per esempio io ho un amica nelle Filippine che vive in condizioni pessime e spesso non ha i soldi per sfamare la propria famiglia, se io le dessi  cento euro la aiuterei per un mese, magari. Un piccolo sacrificio per me, un grande aiuto per lei.

Come sarebbe se tutti quelli che leggono questo articolo le dessero un poco di luce? Lei potrebbe diventare presto indipendente, riuscendo a comprarsi un veicolo per lavorare ed un paio di capre per fare il latte, per esempio.

La tecnologia ci ruberà il lavoro?

Da quando è cominciata l'industrializzazione le persone si sono lamentate che le macchine, l'automazione, stava e sta ancora rubando posti di lavoro agli uomini.
Da una parte è vero, vediamo che nelle industrie un solo operaio utilizzando macchinari riesce a produrre  molto di più che non un artigiano a mano, con un conseguente abbassamento dei costi, ma anche un abbattimento di personale necessario.
Perfino nei super mercati stanno mettendo le casse fai da te, che una volta erano solo per 10 articoli o comunque senza il carrello, ma se ne vedono anche di quelli dove puoi fare una spesa completa. Anche qua basta un solo dipendente che tiene d'occhio una decina di casse e via.
Sicuramente la tecnologia e la robotica avanzerà a tal punto che non serviranno neppure quelli, come nei caselli dell'autostrada (che sono comunque costosi... ma questo argomento lo lasciamo per un altro articolo.), per cui: dove andranno a finire tutti i dipendenti? Rimarremo tutti senza lavoro?
In verità se ci pensi bene rimangano ancora dei lavori che le macchine non possono fare perché ancora non sono riusciti a mettere questa componente che invece possiedono gli uomin: la creatività.
Pittori, illustratori, scrittori, giornalisti, cantanti, attori, designer, questi sono solo alcuni dei lavori che permettono agli uomini di esprimere la loro creatività, caratteristica che ha del divino se ci pensate.
Poi bisogna ricordare che tutte le industrie che producono e produrranno senza bisogno di personale, seppure riuscissero ad abbattere i costi al minimo, se nessuno lavora nemmeno nessuno comprerebbe i loro prodotti, per cui potranno investire in pubblicità per far guadagnare anche le persone (così come stanno già facendo in molti tramite App come AppLike di Google o FeaturePoint, dove puoi guadagnare scaricando app e facendo dei questionari, e in caso vogliate provarli con il primo link guadagnate 2555 punti e con il secondo 50 per le rispettive App).
Tornando al discorso creatività, sono sicuro che molti staranno già pensando "ma io non so fare neinte", "non ho nessun talento creativo"... impossibile, sicuramente se pensi così non l'hai mai scoperto o ti sei dimenticato, si perché da bambini siamo tutti creativi, ci inventiamo giochi e storie, poi crescendo ci adeguiamo al sistema, ci piazziamo davanti ad uno schermo che ci annebbia (ovviamente non sono contro computer e TV, anche perchè lo sto utilizzando per scrivere, e sono appassionato di Film e serie TV, ma queste dovrebbero essere stimoli creativi, infatti leggiamo e vediamo lavori fatti da creativi.) Se poi stai leggendo questo articolo vuol dire che al 99% sei Italiano, e noi siamo gli artisti per eccellenza, dovremmo riscoprire questa nostra qualità innata.

- scrivi un libro, è vero che in italia ci sono più scrittori che lettori, il che è preoccupante, ma il primo passo per uno scrittore è quello di leggere, se non sapete cosa leggere pensate all'argomento che vi interessa o al genere di film e telefilm che vi appassionano e trovate un libro correlato. Poi per affinare le vostre doti di scrittori potete leggere libri sulla scrittura creativa, così da non dover partire da zero assoluto. Passo dopo passo si arriva alla pubblicazione, anche qui la tecnologia ci viene in aiuto dandoci la possibilità di farlo anche senza dover pagare, come il servizio offerto da Lulu (con questo link potrete stampare la prima copia gratis.)
- Prova a fare video. Ormai su youtube c'è di tutto, e non è proprio facile a guadagnare, però vanno tanto i video di gameplay, cioè ti registri mentre giochi... sembra strano, ma si, potresti guadagnare soldi giocando ai video giochi (e se vuoi avere qualche sconto nel comprarli, dai un'occhiata a Instant Gaming)

Come vedete ci sono varie alternative al lavoro classico, non dobbiamo per forza vivere come ci impone il sistema.

The problem of not having real problems

If you ask someone, anyone random, what problems he or she has, what do you think will be the answer? It could be that they don't like their job, or some one in their job's place, maybe the boss; or they fought with their partner, maybe have some trouble to find the perfect clothes to go out next weekend. If you think about it, are these really problems? Ages ago the problems were more “real”. Just think about in the European Medieval time: no hygiene, the plague, a little sickness could have killed you. The same we can say about Africa, where they had to hunt their own food, or they risked to be hunted from the beasts. All the troubles the pioneers had in travelling in the winter time and the persecutions. The Great Wars of the last century.

Now, in our western society, we don't have these big problems any more. There are no big wars that touch us, the medicine is at the highest level and we can fight the majority of the known illness, and for the majority of the population there is no persecution. So this mean that we have too much free time, and we decide to fill it up with other problems, that usually are small and bearable, but when we focus on those they become so big.

Though it may sound strange, the problem is that we focus in any small things that we don't have, or we want to have, or that bothers us. It starts in young age now, with a bicycle maybe, they need one because all the other friends have one. Then becomes a motorcycle. And what about the cellphone? They must have the newest one, the most powerful, probably their friend have it, so they must have it too. And the same things we can say about the clothes. Another “big” problem is: what to do this weekend? They must have fun, they don't know how, but they must. Life is pointless if you don't have fun. Now you are thinking I'm exaggerating or I'm thinking only about some one. Let's see another common one: to be offended. Nowadays everyone get offended so easily: you can't eat meat or someone get offended, you can't show your religious beliefs or someone get offended, you can't express your opinion especially in the social media or someone get offended. People fight for a sport event, or for a movie, even for a different culture. Discrimination for everything.

Some may say that we do have life or death problems in the world today. This is true. The times change and so do the problems. Back in the day, people were crusading for religion or gold, now they have their crusades for various things in the internet. Less blood for sure. We have real big problems. Terrorism still exists, wars are around the world, and some people don't have food. People are also struggling in their own lives. Some families strive to live a respectful life, some have fights between parents and children of any age, murderers, married couples that divorces. Yes, we have big problems, but we can't solve them because we are distracted from those small ones.

If we look our real big problems, and we try to think about the true origin of them, we could find that most of them start with a small problem made big. Let us try to avoid creating our own problems. Don't focus on useless things, and we will see that many of the big ones will disappear. It is an Utopic idea, but if everyone will do this, we could stop also the global problems, because humanity has a great potential, that nothing is impossible when we focus on something, when we put our faith in something. And, at list, we end up to live a better life outside and inside.

Is God involved in our life?

There are different opinions regarding this topic: people that believe in God think that every aspect in life is not random, but part of His great plan; others, instead, say that first there is no God, so there is no discussion about it, or if there is a God, He wouldn't care about any little aspect of our life.

So, if we look at them they may look both good points, and if we use the scriptures we can find evidence on both. For examples when Jesus says to the people that are called to go and preach the gospel to not take a bag or an extra robe, because if God dresses the flowers and feed the birds, He would have much more care to his children. It gives reason to the first way of thinking.

Then in Isaiah 66 we read “Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where, then, is a house that you could build for Me? And where will My resting place be?”. How much would He care if the whole Earth is His footstool? That gives credit to the second point of view. And there are many of those through the scriptures.

In my opinion, of what I have understood till now, the answer can be found in the middle: God is our Heavenly Father, He definitely care for every one of us, and He is giving us all the tools and the knowledge we need, but it is not a puppet master behind all things.

In the old testament we read a lot about punishment and blessings, but they needed that type of words to understand. Like in the garden of Eden when the Lord said “Unto the woman [...], I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children”, it is common belief that it is not God giving a punishment, but telling her what it will be. Why can't be the same with other things? Maybe God is telling us the laws of the universe, that at some action comes a reaction: if we do something the consequence can be bad, if we do differently the consequence will be good, a blessing, and like the punishment doesn't come from God neither does the blessing. It is just how it works.
